Prayer in Islam is a pillar of religion, it’s the second of the five pillars of Islam, God commanded it to be confirmed on each Muslim woman, men.
Importance of performing the player:
The Salah is creating a strong connection between the human and his God, Allah who’s made the universe. He holds all things together in this world, by prayer you get rid of confusion, negative energy.
When did God command the performance of prayer?
When the prophet Muhammad PBUH went to Al Esraa and Al Merag, before his immigration by year and a half, when Allah commanded him by fifty Salah per day and night, then he went to prophet Mussa PBUH, and Mussa asked him how many prayers Allah commands you to do it, he said fifty, the prophet Mussa said to him ask the Allah to reduce the number of prayers, it’s hard on your nation, then the prophet Muhammad PBUH went to Allah and prophet Mussa more times to reduce the number of prayer to the least number until reached to five prayers per day and night on all Muslims.
The postures of Salah:
In Islam there are five positions:

In this position recite three times (Subhana Rabeya Alaala).
4- Sajdah:

praise be to Allah, Lord of all the world.
Read Suratul Fatihah, it’s the first chapter in Quraan, after finishing the reading Al Fatihah starts to read other smaller chapters in Quraan, eg: Al Ekhlas, or Al Nnas.
After finishing that, say Allah-o-Akbar and do Ruku which means Bain down at the waist, placing the palms of your hands with spreading the fingers on your knees, and your is parallel to ground, Such as a glass of water on your back, and eyes looking down, directly ahead, and saying three times (Subhana Rabeyal Alazeem) means the glory of my lord, the greatest.
While rising from the banding position of Ruka, recite ( Sami Allahu Liman Hamidah ), this means that Allah heard all who praise him.
After that, say Allah-o-Akbar then you will go to the down, it’s called (Sajdah), in this position you put your hand on the ground first, then put your forehead on the ground, which your nose lightly touches the land and recite for three times ( Subhana Rabeya Alaala).
Then recite Allahu-o-Akbar, then repeat Sajda posture.
Then return to a standing position to do the second Rakah.
Each Salah has three or four Raka, must keep sitting after Sajdah of the second Raka to recite the half of Al Tashahud, then complete the other Rakat.
In the last Raka recites all Al Tashahud then faces the head to the right shoulder and says (Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah), it means peace and the mercy of Allah be on you, then repeats it to the left shoulder.
