He was a great companion of the prophet,صلى الله عليه وسلمhe was born and raised in Mecca, and he converted to Islam secretly in Dar Al-Arqam because of his fear of his people and his mother Khans bint Malik bin Al-Madrab Al-Amiriya, and he died in the third Hijri year in the Battle of Uhud, and his nickname is Abu Abdullah. His beautiful personality: Musab bin Omair was famous for his beauty and being handsome. As he used to wear the best and most expensive clothes and to use the best perfumes to an extent that he was known to be fragrant to the people of Mecca.

He also was known for his eloquence. The story of his conversion to Islam: Allah blessed Musab bin Omair with the blessing of Islam and he was chosen by Prophet Muhammadصلى الله عليه وسلمto spread the Islamic religion among people in Madina. As the harm was severe on the Companions in Mecca, may God be pleased with them, and Musab migrated to Medina after the first pledge of allegiance occurred.

The wife of Musab bin Omair She was Hamna bint Jahsh al-Asadiya, who belonged to Bani Asad bin Khuzaymah, and she was one of the companions and narrators of hadith, her mother was Omaima bint Abdul-Muttalib, the aunt of the Prophet Muhammad,صلى الله عليه وسلمand her sister was Zainab bint Jahsh. The martyrdom of Musab bin Omair During the battle of Uhud, Ibn Khalaf attacked the Messenger,صلى الله عليه وسلم, to kill him, but he was not able to kill him because Musab bin Omair received the blow on the behalf of the Messenger to save him, and Musab continued fighting on the battlefield and while carrying Islam flag Qaima al-Laithi, saw him with the flag and thought he was the messenger. So, he attacked him and killed him, and with this incident, Musab was martyred.

What do we learn from his life story?

1- We learn that Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلمwas smart enough to put everyone in the right position and give everyone the right mission that suited them.

2- We learn that Dawah needs us to be a good example. We should wear in a good way, have a good smell and talk nicely and persuasively before inviting people to Islam.

3- We learn that we should seek a suitable match when we decide to get married.

4- We learn about how many hardships the prophet and his companions had been through and the sacrifices they made for Islam and us to know Islam and to know Allah. We should be thankful to them and pray for them, may Allah be pleased with them and peace to be upon our great Prophet Muhammadصلى الله عليه وسلم
